A Hiccup in the Plans

Of the four women involved in the retail scheme, 2 dropped out. We have decided to let it go for now. I think this is for the best, as Thing Two is still little. I was a little unsure how I was going to pull it off.

Someday I know I will be revisiting this idea. It is in my blood (thanks, Mom!) and I had so much fun thinking about it.

And for the record, I was going to try and talk everyone into the most expensive place, because the location was so excellent and right now, in our downtown that is just starting to define itself as a destination, I think that a visible, accessible location is very important.

So, I will keep doing the summer market and be more vigilant about building a mailing list. Then, when the time is right, I will have a customer base to invite to a Grand Opening!

Well, it's fate you know. It will happen for you when the timing is just right! And you can concentrate more on the 'things' that count most!!!

I really believe things happen for a reason, so although I am disappointed for you, I know that this will happen when the time is right. And, you will already have the benefit of the knowledge gained while looking into retail space this time.

Yay, the disappointment is there, but it must not be the time just yet.

Happy Mother's Day, Steph! I hope you are spoiled rotten today!

I am so sorry to hear about the hiccup. But you have to consider it to be fate. It will happen for your when it's ready to happen. Just keep looking for that other door that's supposed to open! Your work is beautiful and I will keep sending positive retail thoughts your way. And please post soon, it's the 13th and we (your blog readers) have not heard from you. Hope all is well!

Sometimes it's simply for the best, you know? I'm sure things will work out in the end and when it's time for your idea to blossom everything will fall into place. :)

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work out but it sounds like you have just the right outlook on it. And definitely keep me on your list so you can let me know when it does happen! We will be there - we're not too far from you at all. :)
